stories shaped by endurance and place

Stories built over time
We shape narrative direction for stories grounded in sustained effort and place, leading creative vision and execution across photography, film, and writing.
Our approach is rooted in endurance environments, but extends to any project where depth, context, and intention matter.

Featured projects
29029 Everesting
Embedded across multiple mountain events, Cirque Studio shaped narrative direction for participant stories unfolding over days, weeks, months, and years.
The work focused on presence, pacing, and transformation, developing long-form written narratives and support imagery that moved beyond achievement to explore what reshapes perspective over time.

Nepal
Cirque Studio led on-location storytelling direction during an 11-day high-altitude cycling journey on the Annapurna Circuit with professional cyclists Cory Wallace and Usha Khanal.
While primarily aimed at providing content for immediate marketing use, the project was approached with a longer editorial lens, observing pacing, fatigue, and progression through sustained effort, with consideration for future editorial and film extensions.

Rough Rider
Partnering with Transrockies, Cirque Studio developed the narrative focus
for the launch of The Rough Rider, a new multi-day gravel race rooted in the history and landscape of Prescott, Arizona.
Involvement spanned early narrative framing, launch planning, scouting, and was executed through cinematography, photography, and written copy that reflected the pacing, character, and restraint of the landscape rather than the spectacle alone.

When it works
Cirque Studio approaches each project with intention.
Whether unfolding over multiple days or within a focused assignment, we prioritize depth, pacing, and presence over surface-level moments.
This approach is best suited to brands, events, people and places who value clarity, meaning, and work that holds up over time.
